A modern equal-parts cocktail combining smoky mezcal with Yellow Chartreuse, Aperol and fresh lime juice. Bright, smoky, herbal and bittersweet.

Preparation
- 1Add the mezcal, Yellow Chartreuse, Aperol and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- 2Shake well until chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Historical Background
Naked and Famous was created by bartender JoaquÃn Simó at Death & Co in New York City in 2011. Simó described it as the 'bastard love child' of the Last Word and Paper Plane, with an Oaxacan connection through its mezcal base. The cocktail was added to the official IBA list in 2020.
