Preparation

1. 1Rim a chilled coupe glass with sumac.
2. 2Add ice cubes made from karkade in glass.
3. 3Add gin, lychee liqueur, aloe vera drink, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice.
4. 4Shake well until thoroughly chilled.
5. 5Single strain into the prepared glass.
6. 6Garnish with a fresh mint.

Created by Mger Gabrielyan in Yerevan, Armenia. The cocktail takes its name from two of its defining ingredients—aloe and lychee ('Alisa')—and is distinguished by a sumac rim that adds a bright, tangy Armenian-inspired finish.
