Preparation

Historical Background

The Japanese Slipper was created in the 1980s by Jean-Paul Bourguignon at Mietta's Restaurant in Melbourne, Australia. Inspired by the vibrant green color and distinctive melon flavor of Midori, the cocktail quickly became an international favorite and remains one of the best-known drinks featuring the Japanese liqueur.
